Cleansing your skin with Oil
.
Whether you’re taking off your makeup or just want to clean your skin and remove the impurities that have accumulated during the day or the sebum that has been excreted overnight is ideal to do so with oil.
.
It sounds like a paradox to clean your face with oil, but I’ll explain it to you.
.
Many people think that applying oil on the face will lead to the appearance of acne, but this does not necessarily happen. Oils contain useful fats that prevent damage to the skin and the appearance of pimples.
.
However, this method may prove to be a better alternative to the use of soap or a cleansing cosmetic product, as this way the dirt breaks down without destroying the natural oil in the skin.
.
Oils can perfectly remove makeup on the face and are gentle enough in the area around the eyes. They cleanse the skin without the need for pressure or friction. The oil also leaves no dirt or debris on the skin.
.
Olive oil and almond oil have anti-inflammatory properties. According to some specialists, the oils can be useful for people who have normal or dry skin, but not for those who have already existing problems with acne.
.
Many experts in the field are of the opinion that oils are a great way to exfoliate the skin of the face. They can effectively remove dead skin cells. Cleansing the face in this way can “lock” the moisture in the skin, which prevents drying and cracking.
.
Oils are very efficient products and anti-ageing. They are devoid of chemicals, and at the same time are rich in antioxidants. As the age progresses, the natural excretion of fat in the skin decreases. Cleansing the face with oil can compensate for these losses and thus reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
.
Most powders and other preparations of decorative cosmetics are made from oil in a percentage. The skin-secreting sebum is fat, oil. So how do we clean the oil with oil?
.
That’s exactly what the trick is. We all know that similar things are attracted to you. The oil molecule is naturally attached to another oil molecule. And that’s how it cleans up, because it brings that fatty molecule whether it’s part of expensive cosmetics or our own fat. It is important to choose an adequate oil or oil mixture and use it properly to clean the skin.
.
Choose carefully the oils with which you clean the skin of the face. Just because some oil is natural doesn’t mean it’s not too aggressive or comedogenic.
.
When we want to clean the skin with oil it is important that we apply the oil to dry skin. directly to the skin, not on the cotton pads and especially not on wet cotton pads.
.
In simple terms, the skin can be cleaned with oil in two ways.
.
A couple of drops of oil can be applied with your fingertips directly on the face. If there is mascara in the eyes, very slightly rub there first. Then gently rub on the rest of the face. Wash the residues with lukewarm water or rinse with a damp swab. If necessary dry and apply again to the eyes if it is heavy makeup.
.
Rub the oil all over your face for a minute or two. Take a small towel and wet it with lukewarm water and put over the face to stand for two minutes. After that, wipe the whole face and neck with the same towel.
.
The advantages of this face cleansing are that it does not harm skin unlike all other cleansing products or gels which may contain harmful chemicals. Oils do not dry the skin and do not damage the protective layer.
.
Sometimes after such a cleansing, it is not necessary to further smear the skin, as the thin layer of oil remains as protection against external influences and from the evaporation of its own moisture.
.
Not all oils are as good for cleansing the skin. Of course, minerals like oil derivatives aren’t the subject of this story at all. And the natural must be more sea- cold or super-cold (CO2) and properly selected. Dry oil is good for all skin types. But it breaks down quickly and has a specific smell. Coconut oil is very strong and not very adequate because of all the oils it binds the most oil molecules to itself. This can dry up your skin and make it patchy or cause increased sebum secretion.
.
Castor Oil and Olive oil are most widely used for face cleansing. Olive oil has antioxidants and vitamin and hydrates the skin and castor oil is antibacterial and acts as an astringent for the skin. Equal portions can be taken in the ratio 1:1 or you can increase the quantities based on your skin type.
.
The other oils which can be used are grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil and sunflower oil.
