Minimalist Skincare Routine for Naturally Beautiful Skin
Do not wash your face many times
Although the process of cleaning the skin from dirt and makeup cosmetics is a necessary step in maintaining a youthful and beautiful skin, washing your face more than 2 times a day with soap can be more harmful. Wash your face no more than twice a day, in the morning and before going to bed with a gentle cleanser suitable to your skin. If you are using soap, make sure that it contains the right moisturizing ingredients for your skin.
My recommendation is Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.
Exfoliating
Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells to reveal healthy skin while stimulating the skin to produce a new layer of skin cells. The skin regeneration cycle is from 15 to 28 days, If you exfoliate regularly, the skin will thicken like dry scales, as a result of which the skin looks dull.
You can also use some kitchen ingredients to exfoliate, for example, sugar gives a very good effect. You can mix sugar with moisturizing oils such as olive oil and coconut oil. Fruits, such as avocados, papayas, also work in exfoliating. During exfoliation, the skin is exposed to natural oils, and it is a very important component that adds moisture to the skin.
Moisturize the skin
Do not forget the very basic but most important step in the process of skincare that is to keep the skin well moisturised. Many people believe that if they use expensive creams of famous brands, it will cover the shortcomings caused by time for the skin. If you moisturize the skin mechanically, wrinkles will definitely happen to you.
Research by a well-known beauty cosmetics company shows that wrinkles grow more slowly in women with moist and hydrated skin than those with dry skin. Therefore, you should start using a moisturizer daily if you want a skin without wrinkles.
You can also use natural oils such as pure coconut oil and olive oil by applying a thin layer on the face, then gently rinse with clean lukewarm water. They are much cheaper than facial products in the market and do the same job for you.
Facial massage
Facial massage is essential if you want a beautiful skin. Massage helps improve blood circulation, stimulates air circulation, thus improving skin health. Use your fingers to massage your face with circular movements starting from the neck to the entire forehead area. The best time to massage your face is in the morning after waking up. Note that massage should not be too strong because it is possible to stretch the skin excessively necessary.
Use Fruit Masks
Lemon and pineapple are rich in vitamin C and alpha-hydroxy acids, so it is a very good fruit for making facial masks. Lemon works to support the skin in the production of collagen, while pineapple helps to improve wrinkles and tighten the skin. In addition, pineapple contains a large amount of bromelain enzyme, which helps to remove dead skin cells. Cucumbers and sliced watermelons are also used in masks for a long time now.
Eat lemon, pineapple and use them as a regular skincare mask to maintain youthful skin and increase brightness. Rub a slice of lemon or pineapple on your face, prioritizing wrinkled skin areas such as your forehead, chin and cheeks. Apply the mask for 10 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water.
Vitamin A, C and E intake
A healthy diet means healthy skin – pure and simple. One of the simple ways to get a youthful and healthy skin is to have a healthy diet in which foods high in vitamins A, C and E are especially important.
Vitamin C plays an important role in the production of collagen. Vitamin A has been shown to improve skin elasticity and promote skin cell formation, which is also a major and popular component in many anti-wrinkle creams today. Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant, it helps to eliminate free radicals, the cause of wrinkles and sagging of the skin.
Dieting with foods that contain a lot of these vitamins is the best way for you to take care of your skin. Eat oily fish, fruits such as grapefruit, strawberries and oranges at least three times a week.
Drink plenty of water
If you do not drink at least 8 glasses of water (about 1.5l) per day, your skin will definitely look dry and unhealthy. If the body lacks water, the lips will appear cracked, the skin will look rough and uneven. Water is the number one factor in replenishing moisture for the skin, a dehydrated skin is more likely to show wrinkles early. You should start and end the day with a glass of water.
If work causes you to move frequently, carry a bottle of water. Once you have formed the habit of drinking enough water, you will be surprised with the youthfulness and firmness (good elasticity) of your own skin.
A little tip is to drink fresh coconut water, and you will feel a significant improvement in the skin, as if it were always moisturized.
Drink Cocoa instead of coffee
Studies have shown that Cocoa is an excellent boon of nature that helps the skin fight dehydration, poor circulation, and UV damage. Cocoa is rich in Catechin and epicatechin, two substances that help protect our skin when exposed to the sun, improving the circulation of skin cells and moisturizing, which helps to ensure a smooth and healthy skin.
Lead a healthy lifestyle
Remember, stressful life will reduce the effect of any kind of “elixir”. Be careful when exposed to the sun and do not spend too much time in the sun. Plus, good sleep is very important for your skin. Eat healthy foods, which include fruits and vegetables. In addition, actively recharge yourself. Going to the gym after work, or weekends or whenever you can is a great way to help you do this.
I hope you follow the above minimalist skincare routine for naturally beautiful skin and see the desired effects very soon.
