How to do Facial Exercise
Below are some exercises that you can do yourself at home, which focuses on one area of the face at a time –
Forehead :
Place your index finger just above your eyes and pull it under your eyes while raising your eyebrows. This movement tightens the skin of the forehead. Repeat this movement 10 times.
Lips:
Put your index finger in your mouth and suck your finger as hard as you can, then slowly remove your suction and remove your finger.
Repeat this movement 10 times
The benefits of this facial movement is that it will tighten your lip area.
Eye Movements :
Sit with your eyes closed, and relax.
While closing your eyes, move your eyeballs by glancing up and down as far as possible.
Repeat this eye 10-15 times
Furthermore, with your eyes closed and relaxed, raise your eyebrows and eyelids as far as possible (eyes are still closed), until the count of 10, relax. repeat this movement 10 times.
Face and Cheek Movement :
Lifting of your cheeks
Put your middle finger, index finger, and ring finger on your cheeks, then do the lifting of your cheeks and at the same time smile as widely as possible.
Fill mouth with air
Fill the mouth with air and push the air from left to right 5 times. Then exhale and create the mouth-shaped into a small “O”. Repeat this exercise three or four times to keep your cheeks firm and not sagging.
Sticking tongue out
Take your tongue as far as you can and hold this position for 60 seconds. Repeat 3 times.
Look up at the ceiling
Look up and pull your lips out like you’re about to kiss something. Hold for 5 seconds and repeat 5 times.
Repeat the letter ‘O’
Open your mouth and create an O-shaped aperture. Continue repeating the letter O and repeat it 10 times.
Fish face
Smile while holding your lips, then create a fish-shaped mouth by sucking your cheeks into the space between the sides of your teeth. Do this exercise five times to tighten your lip and cheek muscles.
Neck:
Sit straight and turn your head back while staring at the ceiling of the house.
Then spread/open your mouth as wide as possible, and hold it until the count of ten
Then on the count of 10, close your mouth
Take a breath and relax.
Repeat the above movements 10 times.
Chin:
Sit upright on a chair and turn your head back while gazing at the ceiling of the roof of the house.
Be relaxed, then open your mouth until your lips form a sphere (like about to kiss), count to 20
On the count of 20, close your mouth and return your head to its normal position
Closing Movement :
After doing some of the facial movements above, stretch the facial muscles, then do relaxing steps as a cover as follows:
Open your mouth as wide as you can, feel your chin, cheeks, and lips stretch until firm. Hold it in that position for a few seconds, then release it and relax.
Repeat the above exercises several times (this exercise relaxes the facial muscles, and increases blood circulation, and reduces tension and stress.)
Then end the training session as below:
Take a deep breath and exhale through your mouth by opening your mouth wide while sticking out your tongue as far as possible.
Open your eyes and look up. this can reduce muscle tension in the face as well as neck, increase blood circulation and stimulate the eyes.
Pinch your cheeks and squeeze/twist your cheeks, but don’t be too hard. This movement exercise increases blood circulation on the face.
The above facial exercises do not require a lot of time to do it, it is economical because there is no need for specific tools. Do the above facial exercises consistently and see the difference after you’ve done it in a few weeks.
